Information related to our conference at Nyenrode Business University

Arrivals and Lunch: Feb. 5 at 11:00 h at Nyenrode Business University, Albert Heijn Building (No. 21).

Accommodations were provided at The Van der Valk Hotel Breukelen, www.hotelbreukelen.nl.

Transportation to Breukelen:

By taxi (or Uber)
Travel time: approx. 25–30 minutes.
Indicative fixed fares: From Schiphol to Breukelen: approx. €60–€80 for 1–4 passengers with many taxi companies.

Where to get a taxi:
Official taxis are available at the taxi rank outside Schiphol Plaza / arrivals hall. Pre-booking is also possible.
Practical tips: Pre-booking a taxi often gives a fixed and lower price than using the meter. Metered airport taxis are usually more expensive than pre-arranged fixed fares.

By public transport (train + bus) This is usually the most economical option, but it takes longer than traveling by car or taxi.

Step-by-step route
Step 1 — Schiphol → Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena (or directly to Utrecht CS/Breukelen). Trains depart frequently from Schiphol Airport railway station.
Travel time to Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena is about 15–20 minutes.
Step 2 — Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena → Breukelen
Transfer to a sprinter or intercity train towards Breukelen (directly or via Utrecht).
Travel time is approx. 45–60 minutes, depending on the connection.
Optional final leg (by bus):
Some routes include bus line 120 from Breukelen station closer to Nyenrode. Walking from railway station Breukelen is approximately 30 minutes.
Costs: Train + bus: typically, €8–€15 one-way (OV-chipkaart or contactless payment/OVpay accepted).
Practical tips: You can travel using an OV-chipkaart, contactless debit/credit card (OVpay), or individual train tickets.
Check current schedules on 9292.nl or via the NS app before departure: Nederlandse Spoorwegen – Buy train tickets | NS app
